Spiders have three specially adapted non-stick claws on each leg that allows them to scamper across their webs with relative ease. They also tend to lay a dragline for safety.

Should they fall into the web, they can become trapped, in which case their only escape is to eat their way out, aided by special saliva enzymes that dissolves the silk.
